The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) is seeking highly-qualified candidates for the position of Associate Vice Chancellor for Graduate Education. The Associate Vice Chancellor will lead the Graduate School Office at UMD and will report to the Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (EVCAA). In addition to overseeing the operation of the Office of Graduate Education, the successful candidate hired to fill this position is expected to play a lead role in establishing UMD as a center of excellence for graduate education in the Upper Midwest, and to advocate and represent UMD's role in graduate education in the University of Minnesota system.
Possess the terminal degree in their academic field or discipline
Hold a current or prior appointment with tenure at Associate or Full Professor rank
Have experience advising graduate students through degree completion
Have experience teaching at the graduate level
