This position is responsible for creating graphics and signage for museum exhibitions including: labels, text panels and vinyl, advertisements, etc. Regular museum operating tasks will be completed when needed, such as: administrative support, greeting patrons at the front desk, receptionist duties, and handling artworks and tools.
High school diploma or GED plus six months to one year of related experience is required.
Experience with projects for arts related organizations or museums.
Extensive knowledge of computer graphic programs including the Adobe Creative Cloud on Apple computers.
Design layout, editing and production skills.
Ability to create designs, follow oral and written instructions, work efficiently under deadlines and interface with staff and the general public, communicating effectively with these groups.
