Under general supervision, schedules patient appoinments, greets visitors and answers questions. Reviews information for completeness, performs patient registrations and assists with patient flow in clinic

High school diploma or equivalent; supplemented with one (1) year related work experience.
Schedules patient appointments, consults, tests, etc. Requests pre-certification/authorization from insurance companies for in-clinic procedures. Performs patient registration over the phone including demographic and insurance information and maintains patients appointment log.
Answers phone and responds to inquiries; refers, routes or places calls & makes follow up calls, serves as receptionist, greeting and assisting visitors and patients.
Review daily appointments and gathers missing information; test results, referrals, etc, updates physicians’schedule. Attends in-services, staff meetings and interacts with clinical team, opens mail and keeps work areas neat information. Performs other duties as assigned
