Under administrative direction, is responsible for the overall success of analytics for their applications and assures customers’ data needs are addressed; analyzes, provides specifications for, and writes individual clinical and operations reports of varying complexity based on an in-depth knowledge of operational system usage; functions with a high degree of independence to proactively identify needs or issues; facilitates the development, modification and adherence to a system wide reporting strategy; performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with three (3) years of related work experience. Certification in associated Epic Applications is required.
Participates in planning, selection, and installation of data structure changes in electronic health records (EHR) system; maintains and develops instances using Crystal Business Objects; manages data extraction process; troubleshoots clarity and reporting workbench issues.
Collaborates with application, interface, HIM and training teams to assess end-user training needs; creates inclusion rules and metrics for registries; creates and maintains groupers for registries and reporting workbench; develop dashboards to support clinical and revenue long-term initiatives.
Provides end-user reporting support; identifies clinical reporting needs and determines which standard/custom reports may be used or repurposed; reviews issue logs to identify patterns; tracks performance of vendor in resolving issues within target dates; plans and implements installation, upgrades, and development projects.
Recommends reporting improvements to EHR system; serves as liaison between departments and software vendors for reporting initiatives; coordinates the transfer of patient data to and from the data warehouse; facilitates third-party reporting software integration with EHR.
Performs other duties as assigned.
