Detailed Job Description

The Operations and Records Assistant II is responsible for entering all application data for the Graduate School into the Banner student information system as well as maintaining applicant records in the Image Now document repository. Data entry is critical to the ability to evaluate candidates for enrollment. This function has a direct impact on the institution achieving its enrollment goals.  

Additional Description of Duties:

Data entry of incoming graduate applications.

Completion of web-loaded applications.

Completing all check lists in Banner for applicant tracking.

Management of physical and digital documents and there transition into Image Now.

Distributing incoming applications to the appropriate areas in Graduate Admission.  

Position Qualifications

High School diploma and 2-4 years of related data entry experience. PC proficiency with knowledge of Windows applications, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, data entry or typing minimum speed of 45 wpm with 90% accuracy.
