Bentley University is accepting applications for future openings as Adjunct Lecturers in the Global Studies department, in areas such as Comparative Politics, Politics and Public Policy, International Relations, US Government, International Development, Globalization, and Global Regions. Additional Description of Duties:

Teach an introductory course in comparative politics. The course provides students with the basic knowledge and conceptual tools for analyzing the varieties of national states, regimes (democratic, nondemocratic and hybrid), political institutions and processes. It is designed to help students learn about the historical, economic and cultural contexts of political change (such as democratization, revolution or reform), and understand how and why political systems function differently and the consequences of the differences.

Position Qualifications

Doctorate in Political Science or related discipline strongly preferred. PhD candidates in the late stages of training will be considered.
Ability to use email and Blackboard or willingness to learn and incorporate into classes.
