Quinnipiac University invitesa applications for the position of Assistant Director of Admissions for QU Online.
The Assistant Director of Admissions will work with the Director of Admissions for Online Programs to attract, enroll, and retain a class with strong educational credentials. The successful candidate will be service-oriented and student-centered, and will work as part of a team of admissions and student support professionals.
Manage inquiries to achieve prompt contact and weekly activity goals.
Schedule and conduct interviews, and recruit qualified candidates for enrollment.
Determine appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon academic history and career goal compatibility.
Achieve enrollment and start rate goals.
Accurately and fully portray educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to prospective students.
Follow up with prospective students and applicants on a regular basis to ensure successful matriculation.
Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities as assigned.
Accurately forecast projected new students to the Director of Admissions.
Conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. Adhere to all state and federal accreditation and University rules and regulations regarding student recruitment.
Participate in business/community development activities to encourage enrollments into programs at Quinnipiac University Online.
Bachelor’s degree required; a relevant graduate degree is preferred.
Minimum of two years of successful intangible sales or admissions-as-sales experience, preferably with adult students.
Strong skills in the areas of organization, data analysis, oral/written communication, interpersonal relations, customer service and technology, including proficiency with MS Office programs.
An understanding of and commitment to enrollment management concepts, and a willingness to work in and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
