Perform a large variety of administrative and clerical tasks involving discretion and independent decision making related to the main offices of the Department of Teacher Education and the Department of Educational Leadership.

Knowledge of basic office operations, policies, and procedures; good working knowledge of computer and office applications; ability to perform multiple tasks with interruption and retain accuracy; strong background in a general office environment including: excellent organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to interact with diverse populations and to respond to inquiries promptly; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision; generally typical office environment with frequent interruptions to respond to unexpected and immediate demands. Periodic assignments given which entail dealing with modestly unpleasant physical conditions.
Requires nine months of coursework or training beyond high school in Business Administration and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Access), Google (Mail, Calendar, Forms, Drive, and Documents), Banner, BuyWay, Kronos, MINE, HireTouch, EPAF, 25Live, NIIHKA/Canvas, online course scheduling system. Previous experience in an academic or professional office setting. Knowledge of the course scheduling system.
