Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the Information Technology Project Manager will provide support in the following areas:
Develop agenda, lead meeting, and record and distribute notes for various Project Teams.
Organize project related meetings, setups, trainings with personnel and vendors for implementations. Clarify roles and tasks including note takers.
Develop project statuses and upcoming tasks for weekly IT Managers meetings.
Create project charter for each IT project; clarifying stakeholders, communications plans and other charter tasks.
Teach various managers how to run projects effectively.
Coordinate, schedule, run, record and distribute notes for meetings related to project (Data Management Team). Follow up with AIC employees on the project tasks assigned to them.
Participate in weekly IT Managers meetings.

Bachelor's degree is required.
Master's degree preferred.
Experience in higher education; experience creating and complex projects (managing system conversions, data warehouses or data integrations).
Technical experience in IT or Data Analysis required.
Major ERP system training (i.e. Banner, Datatel, or Jenzabar) is required.
Previous experience in converting to a new SIS is preferred.
Ability to communicate with IT personnel about technical specifications.
Communicate effectively with end users such as Deans, administrators, offices.
Understand how databases are structured and the types of tables and fields often found in higher ed systems (particularly in data warehouses.
Good attention to detail while continuing to understand and value the big picture.
