Detailed Job Description

The Manager of Alumni Publications edits and manages the production of the quarterly Alabama Alumni Magazine, the annual NAA Honor Roll Booklet and other promotional materials as needed for the UA Office of Alumni Affairs and the National Alumni Association. This position leads the planning and execution of special projects to support the department's overall communications strategies, and also provides proofreading and editing support for other departments in the alumni office. The Manager of Publications works closely with NAA volunteers in meetings and functions throughout the year.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience writing and editing publications.

Skills and Knowledge:

Demonstrated writing and editing ability. Thorough working knowledge of desktop publishing software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, English or a related field. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37835.16 Midpoint - $ 54870.36
