The Marketing Promotions Coordinator assists the Assistant Director of Real Estate & External Operations in developing and executing marketing programs at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center. The incumbent serves as a liaison in establishing and streamlining strategic marketing campaigns while providing university stewardship; is responsible for the coordination of visual marketing materials and educational tools for interactive and static displays; working with University departments to keep content current with regard to associated events, research, and education. The incumbent promotes and coordinates events to be held at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center. The incumbent will present information at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center in a functional format to maximize guest experience and exposure to all WSU has to offer.
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field and three (3) years of professional level experience in marketing, promotional or related work. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Experience working with events, marketing, public relations, and media relations in higher education or similar institutional setting or organization.
Experience in leading others in coordinating events.
