The Instructor of English will report directly to the Dean of the School of Humanities and will provide 15 credit hours of instruction per semester with a primary teaching load in writing courses. Course load will potentially include courses in college composition, developmental writing and technical writing in face-to-face, learning community, and online environments. Teaching load may include an occasional course in literature or creative writing. Responsibilities include assessment, service on various college and department committees, maintenance of office hours, and other duties as assigned by the Dean. Instruction times will include day and evening courses. May instruct at the main campus, east campus (Aztec) or the west campus (Kirtland).
