The Coordinator of XCP Field Experiences reports to the Chief Licensure and Field Experiences Officer. The incumbent works in collaboration with PK-12 regional or private schools to place and mentor all pre-service teachers (4+1 and Graduate Students) for clinical practicum, internships and student teaching.
Require communication with supervisors regarding candidate’s observations, assessment and reporting.
Assist the Licensure and Field Officer with conducting all field experiences seminars, orientations, supporting and evaluating all field supervisors, maintaining all staff and candidate records associated with field experiences and ensuring the completion of candidate and supervisor assessments at the culmination of each field experience.
Place all school-based student teaching, practicum and internship students in the 4+1, undergraduate, school leadership and graduate programs.
Manage all candidate records related to clinical experiences; set assignments and follow up.
Collaborate with other SOE staff in coordinating supervisor stipends.
Prepare all necessary reports for review by the Certification and Field Experiences Officers for state local and accreditation bodies.
Maintain currency in supervision and field experiences literature and regulations.
Provide support to and communicate regularly with SOE faculty, staff, candidates, PK-12 supervisors, and regional administrators regarding requirements for candidates approaching the practicum, student teaching or intern experience.
Maintain best practices in customer service.
Other duties as may be assign by the Certification and Field Experience Officer, dean or associate dean.
As part of the Licensure and Field Experiences, the Certification Officer also provides oversight of the area of clinical practicum, internships and student teaching.
Requires the incumbent to supervise the coordinator of XCP Field Experiences.
Ensures the appropriate coordination of all sites takes place.
Assists faculty and/or conducts professional development with PK-12 School, faculty and staff regarding policies, procedures, and assessment.
Other duties as assigned by the dean or associate dean.

Master's degree is required.
Strong commitment to high-quality instruction in a diverse, student-centered environment and the ability to work with students with various learning styles and backgrounds.

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Blackboard, and the instructional use of technology to teach traditional, hybrid or on-line courses, as needed.
Ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere among students and faculty.
