Miami University's innovative Armstrong Institute for Interactive Media Studies (AIMS) is seeking a talented, qualified and enthusiastic candidate to assist with interdisciplinary experiential learning programs across multiple locations, including San Francisco, Austin and Cincinnati.  These programs are cross-disciplinary, semester-long academic programs, where students live, work and network with entrepreneurs and game changers in innovative cities around the U.S.


The Digital Innovation Assistant Manager for Marketing & Student Services will have a range of responsibilities related to advancing industry relationships, research, teaching and service activities of the Armstrong Institute for Interactive Media Studies.  These activities will specifically focus on, but are not limited to:

  1. Developing program marketing materials and creating and executing a marketing strategy, including but not limited to print and digital campaigns
  2. Meeting with students to discuss program opportunities and professional development
  3. Fostering student community development and connection to the ecosystems
  4. Organizing educational networking events and assist students with alumni connections
  5. Assisting with various administrative duties including email and phone check-ins with internship supervisors, scheduling program orientation sessions and more

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; excellent written and oral presentation skills; availability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends and travel; ability to adapt within entrepreneurial start-up environment.

Preferred Qualifications

One-two years of relevant experience in client-facing role.
