The University of La Verne College of Law invites qualified applicants for a one-year visitorship to teach Contracts/ILS in the fall 2014 semester and Intellectual Property Law, Sports Law, and/or Entertainment Law in the spring 2015 semester. Other courses may be assigned according to the expertise and interest of the successful candidate. Normal teaching load is two course preparations per semester and may include teaching two sections for one of the preparations.
This position is a full-time one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal or conversion to a tenure-track position. A J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school is required, and preference may be given to candidates with full-time teaching experience in ABA-approved law schools.

The College of Law is provisionally approved by the ABA and offers both full-time day and part-time evening programs. It is located in Ontario, California, about 40 miles east of Los Angeles.
