Bentley's Natural and Applied Sciences Department invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in biological chemistry. Additional Description of Duties:
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field of science and must be an outstanding teacher who can engage undergraduate students with business interests and perform innovative research in his/her fields of expertise. Areas of interest may range broadly, including biological chemistry (pharmaceutical or environmental applications), cheminformatics, or toxicological health risks. Individuals with industry or government science experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach a new biological chemistry course and mentor students in Bentley's Health & Industry Liberal Studies Major. We encourage collaborative research that complements the Department's two domains (Earth, Environment, & Global Sustainability and Health & Industry) as well as the school's business perspectives and strengths in information technologies, mathematical sciences, ethics, and international programs.

Minimum qualifications: PhD anticipated on or before September 1, 2013.
Preference: PhD completed on or before July 1, 2013; Post-doctoral experience is preferred.
