Frostburg State University, Office of Information Technology, is accepting applications for a full-time, exempt IT Programmer Analyst position. Salary commensurate with experience and includes University System of Maryland benefits package.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, provide programming support and analysis; design, customize, develop, test, document, and implement enterprise solutions for the University’s administrative and academic needs. FSU currently uses PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Human Capital Management, and Financial Management Solutions for its ERP system software.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field within Applications Programming, Analysis, and Design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective time management skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments, manage conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: At least three years of professional experience in Applications Programming, Analysis, and Design. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL as well as PeopleSoft development tools such as SQR, Query Analyzer, Application Designer, and Application Engine. Knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming languages and tools.
