Under the direction of the SCUP director, conducts and coordinates all administrative and operational activities for the Summer Youth Program Project according to the specifications of the DWS Grant awarded to SCUP for this program. Assists with the operations of the program, including teaching, student recruitment, marketing, public relations, and instructional activities. Collaborates with instructors, promotes program events and activities, and administers business office processes. Assists in program development to further academic preparation and interest in potential students. Responsible for daily operations of the program including program implementation, all business related responsibilities, including staffing, budgeting, reporting, and tracking assessment/outcome profile as set forth in the grant. Assists in developing and implementing program goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Bi-lingual with English and Spanish speaking skills preferred.
Knowledge of curriculum and program development and processes,
