Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking applicants for a faculty position in the Department of Neurosurgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. The position is for an assistant or associate professor rank in the Department of Neurosurgery beginning July 1, 2016. The position will complement the existing eight full-time faculty members within the department.
This is a terrific opportunity for a candidate who has a strong desire to develop a growing neurosurgical spine service based at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. St. Louis University is a Level 1 trauma center for both Missouri and Illinois.
Commitment to teaching residents and medical students is required. Candidates with interest in strong clinical research and potential grant funding are preferred, must be BE/BC. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
