The position reports directly to the Dean of the School of Math, Science, and Engineering and will teach 15 credit hours per semester of primarily freshman and sophomore college level mathematics classes.

The primary duty is effective teaching of college-level mathematics courses. This includes organizing and maintaining mathematics curricula; developing and revising instructional materials; presenting material in an organized manner; evaluating student learning; maintaining student records; teaching day, evening, weekend, and on-line classes, as assigned; teaching at the main and satellite campuses, as assigned; and maintaining a minimum of 5 office hours per week. In addition, the position will assist in recommending and orienting part-time faculty; work with committees and task-forces to achieve the college’s strategic objectives; and participate in professional development activities.
