Detailed Job Description
The full-time Biology Technical Specialist is responsible for preparing and maintaining designated biology exercises including solution preparation and course materials assembly. The Technical Specialist is also responsible for promoting established safety protocol, purchasing some laboratory supplies, and assisting with inventory maintenance.
Associate of Arts degree or higher required with an emphasis in Sciences strongly preferred.
Minimum of two years of laboratory related work experience required.
Proficiency in use of PC based computers required and Microsoft Office preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of testing materials.
Ability to work with minimal supervision with attention to details and deadlines.
Ability to work a flexible 40 hour weekly schedule to accommodate the needs of the laboratory schedule.
