Teaches lower- and upper-division statistics and biostatistics courses. Applicants should have an engaging and effective teaching style and are expected to teach an average of twelve credit hours per semester. Candidates must have a doctoral degree with specialization in biostatistics or similar fields. Candidates with enthusiasm in promoting undergraduate research will be preferred. Graduation from an accredited institution with terminal, earned degree appropriate to discipline. ABD accepted. Graduation from an accredited institution with a Ph.D. in biostatistics or similar fields.
Knowledge of statistics and biostatistics and their application.

Demonstrates the skills to evaluate student performance.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and publish and/or present scholarly research.
Ability to use online learning tools and mechanisms.

Ability to function effectively on a variety of committees and assignments that serve the needs of the University.
Ability to interact personally with students and other faculty members in a congenial and productive manner.
