Quinnipiac University invites applications for a part-time Assistant to the Intramural Director to assist the Director in all phases of Intramurals and administration of all Intramural events including adhering to all Quinnipiac and NCAA rules.
Responsibilities include supervising student employees working Intramurals and Recreation events, assist Director in planning activities, evaluate student workers performances, handle disciplinary problems during games, ensure a safe environment at all activities, and fulfill other duties assigned by the Intramural Director.
Bachelor's degree required.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous successful intramural experience, as well as experience in supervising, training, and coordination of a collegiate intramural events that focuses on the total development of the students.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven aptitude for administrating as illustrated by a strong work ethic, organizational skills and the ability to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and the national NIRSA community.
