Detailed Job Description

This position has primary responsibility in developing, coordinating the review and approval contracts for the University. Draft, review, negotiate, extend, terminate, and renegotiate contracts that legally bind the University. Participate in the development and implementation of contracting policy for the University. Achieve enhanced customer service and compliance related to contracts processing through 1) development and deployment of model contracts and contract clauses to assist end users; 2) collaboration with University departments and colleges in the development and management of contracts.

This is a temporary 6-8 month position. This appointment will end on the date specified and will not be renewed unless positive action is taken to renew your appointment.

Required Qualifications

Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and five (5) years experience contract administration. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in problem solving.

Juris Doctor degree is preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Computer proficiency.
