Provides creative leadership in the design, construction and utilization of a new School of Business facility completing in 2012-2013; recruits, hires, mentors and evaluates faculty and staff; oversees curriculum development and implementation; mentors and advises students; resolves student/teacher and/or parent issues; leads efforts to assess student learning; schedules all School of Business classes; assists in planning and meeting enrollment targets; builds relationships with internship sponsors; collaborates with the Career Center in preparing students professionally; assists in development of appropriate study abroad options; teaches one course each semester; prepares and manages the budget. Requirements include doctorate degree (DBA or PhD) preferred; teaching and administrative experience in higher education or industry; strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead, and communicate effectively; commitment to interdisciplinary study and value of applied and experiential learning; commitment to innovation and new technologies, including computer aided instruction and online and hybrid deliveries of courses; commitment to achieving academic excellence in a teaching-oriented institution.
