Job Description:

Assist students making payments or payment arrangements or inquiring about accounts. Disseminate financial information to students and parents. Resolve customer problems. Post and maintain accurate computer and other records. Follow proper cash control and security procedures. Perform complex and varied billing duties. Perform collections on outstanding receivables. Perform download & upload interface with various vendor systems.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts Human Resources Division Classification Specification for Receiving Teller II may be obtained at the Human Resources Office or at:


  • Three years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting; a degree with a major in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Strong commitment to customer service, ability to work well with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
  • Knowledge of PC and/or mainframe accounting systems.
  • Ability to understand, explain and apply applicable federal and state laws, regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures governing operations.

Additional Information

Salary: $732.30 /wk

Available Shifts:

Monday-Thursday 11:30a.m.-7:30p.m. & Friday 9:00p.m.-5:00p.m. or

Monday -Friday 8:30a.m. -4:30p.m.

Closing Date: November 19, 2015

Some Weekend & some weekday overtime will be required during peak periods, based on department and college needs.
