Detailed Job Description

Under general direction, the Alumni Professional Development Coordinator develops expanded programming to provide career and professional development opportunities for Saint Louis University alumni. The Alumni Professional Development Coordinator facilitates networking and professional development events for local and regional alumni; works closely with Career Services to provide mentorship opportunities for alumni; and manages and maintains Evisors, an online career services platform contract by the University. This position also works closely with the Program Director for Alumni and Student Engagement to develop programming that offers career advice and assistance to alumni.

• Knowledge of alumni relations, career services, volunteer management, event planning, and project coordination
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal/human relation skills
• Ability to organize time, projects, and details
• Ability to operate personal computer
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with one to three (1-3) years of related experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Facilitates networking and professional development events and programs for local and regional alumni.

Works closely with Career Services to provide mentorship and career development opportunities for alumni.

Develops, recruits and oversees an Alumni Career and Professional Development board.

Manages and maintains Evisors, an online career services platform contracted out by the University.

Work closely with the Program Director for Alumni and Student Engagement to develop programming that offers career advice and assistance to current alumni.

Performs other duties as assigned.
