The Department of Business Education and Information & Technology Management at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania has a part time temporary at 25% instructor position in Information & Technology Management for the Spring 2016 academic semester, beginning January 2016. The department is seeking a qualified individual to teach Inter-Organizational Enterprise Systems. The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
ABD or masters degree in information and technology management or related field; an earned doctorate is preferred
Experience working within information technology related field is preferred
Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) is preferred
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is preferred
Teaching experience or corporate training is preferred
Instructional delivery can occur through on-line, traditional, and alternative instructional methods, and can occur on main campus or off-site educational locations.
Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty. Finalist(s) for the position must communicate well, and successfully complete an interview process as judged by the department faculty. Competitive salary is based on collective bargaining agreement and commensurate with experience. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance and criminal background check.
