The University of Alabama School of Law is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Director of Diversity and Inclusion and Assistant Professor of Law in Residence.

The University of Alabama School of Law is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Director of Diversity and Inclusion and Assistant Professor of Law in Residence. The successful candidate will have experience in an educational or other professional setting, and/or an interest and aptitude for, addressing matters of diversity and inclusion. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated the academic and professional excellence anticipated of the members of a top law school’s faculty. Most candidates will have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Exceptional candidates who possess an advanced degree, such as a Ph.D., and who have scholarly interests related to the law involving interdisciplinary, jurisprudential, empirical, or social scientific work may be considered even without holding a law degree.
