The Assistant Director of Games and Event Management will be responsible for coordinating the administration, management and directing of all games and events hosted by the University of Alabama Athletic Department which will include home games and events, post-season, SEC, and NCAA competitions.

Additional Department Summary:

Responsible for overseeing all external events to be held in Athletic facilities.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in sports administration, business administration, event planning, management, hospitality management, public relations, or related with two (2) years of experience in event planning, coordination or management; OR a Bachelor's degree or higher in an unrelated field and at least three (3) years of experience in event planning, coordination or management; OR a Master's degree in sports administration, business administration, event planning, management, hospitality management, public relations or related and one (1) year of experience in event planning, coordination or management. Knowledge of NCAA and SEC policies and procedures. Ability to work successfully in a multi-task environment. Knowledge of personal computers and software programs. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations. Strong and positive interpersonal skills. Some travel required. Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle record as determined by the insurance carrier. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37835.16 Midpoint - $ 54870.36
