Detailed Job Description

This position independently develops, outreach and recruitment strategies for the Honors College, working with the Office of Admissions, Recruitment, and the Registrar’s Office.

Additionally, this position provides academic advising to prospective, transfer, and current students in the Honors College including but not limited to responding to academic inquiries; meetings with students and families; assessing academic levels/academic career interests; coordinating campus visits; and making follow-up contacts.

Required Qualifications

Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Education Abroad experience or knowledge of a foreign language preferred.

Experience recruiting prospective students.

Experience with myWSU and ORACLE.

Monthly Salary

$3,000.00/Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience
