The Payroll Specialist assists with all payroll functions to deliver high quality customer service to all employees. This role ensures accurate, timely processing of bi-weekly payrolls and adjustment payrolls.
Ensures timely, accurate payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis in addition to adjustment payrolls.
Processes all incoming employee changes.
Identifies potential payroll issues and notifies employees promptly of any changes.
Follows all payroll-related standard operating procedures.
Assists with collection of payroll data for various audits (financial, Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX), 401k, workers compensation, etc....)
Assists senior payroll specialist in managing payroll questions from employees, resolving issues, etc.
Trains users on time management software, UltiPro.
Assists in performing various audits of payroll history.
Assists with quarterly and year end process.
Conducts research, reporting analysis, reconciliations and/or special projects as requested.
Processes and assesses incoming correspondence.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of payroll processing.

Three to five years of experience in payroll and/or accounting.
