Founded in 1889 by the oldest religious order in the Catholic Church, the Benedictines, Saint Anselm College is a four-year Catholic, Benedictine, coeducational institution dedicated to providing students with a liberal arts education that incorporates opportunities for professional and career preparation. The average class size is 18 students.
Saint Anselm College is seeking an engaged, strategic and seasoned leader who is committed to the academic excellence and advancement of this mission-driven institution. S/he must be a practicing Catholic and fully embrace and personify the 1500 year old tradition of the Benedictine order and the values of Catholic higher education. The next President will have strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to lead the College’s administrative, fundraising, strategic planning and capital projects initiatives. S/he will articulate a clear direction for the College in the coming era. The next President will foster a collegial and collaborative ethos that capitalizes on the richness of the Saint Anselm community, and ensure the College effectively manages its endowment, student financial aid assistance and enrollment. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion. Significant academic and administrative leadership experience is required and a terminal degree is strongly preferred.
