Assistant Athletic Director (Compliance): Southern Illinois University Carbondale is an NCAA Division I member of the Missouri Valley, Missouri Valley Football, and Mid-American Conference.
Responsibilities: Oversees the University-wide efforts, as well as the athletic department's efforts to operate the intercollegiate athletics program in compliance with all NCAA, Conference and University rules and guidelines, designs and implements compliance monitoring systems, provides rules education for student-athletes, staff and various constituencies, supervises compliance office staff, investigates and responds to allegations of noncompliance, prepares and submits official reports, appeals, waiver requests as well as other official correspondence between the athletics program and the NCAA or Conference.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience in Intercollegiate Athletics and/or NCAA Compliance is required. Master's or Law Degree and at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in NCAA compliance (may be academic years) is preferred.

Appointment: 12-month term, full-time, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
