Opportunity to assist the Regional Campus Dean at Geauga Campus in Burton and Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg, in overall campus leadership and administration to include responsibility for personnel, general administration and management, budget, academic, and development functions. Primary focus on all matters related to academic affairs, develop and maintain partnerships with external constituents, community groups and campus advisory board.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in or terminal degree from an accredited institution; six (6) to seven (7) years’ experience in higher education; experience as a faculty member, faculty rank or academic record sufficient to qualify for a tenure-track faculty appointment is preferred; administrative experience including that acquired for oversight of academic functions, through committee involvement, program coordination, etc. Demonstrated record of highly successful performance as an assistant dean or comparable position including the ability to manage and multi-task complex issues and projects is required. Must be able to work flexible schedules that may include evening and weekend assignments.
