Job Summary

Skidmore College, Department of Anthropology seeks a Lecturer to deliver one course, "Asian Themes in Anthropology" during Spring semester 2015. Skidmore seeks to attract a culturally and academically diverse faculty who will contribute to the community's excellence through their teaching. Candidates who have experience working with diverse student populations are encouraged to apply. The course is a 200-level geographic area course on the anthropology of Asia. There is no prerequisite for this course and expected enrollment will include majors and non-majors. Class meets Wednesday and Friday, 8:40 - 10am, enrollment cap of 26 students.

PhD candidate  

Preferred Qualifications

PhD at time of appointment, and applicants must demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching
