Bates College seeks to hire a lecturer to teach one or two courses in Digital and Computational studies, broadly defined, in the 12-week winter semester 2016 (January 11th through April 17th) and/or one course in the college’s 5-week short term (April 25th through May 27th). The courses offered must have no prerequisites, should be accessible to entering students, and a description of the course(s) should be submitted with the application materials. Candidates should be A.B.D. or have a Ph.D., although the field of study is open, and should have some prior teaching experience.
