The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher who is highly active in service and research. Teaching responsibilities will include the introductory course in American politics along with a rotation of upper level courses, such as American jurisprudence, civil liberties, constitutional law, public policy, and additional course related to one’s experience and research interests. There will also be the opportunity, if interested, to teach courses in international law and human rights as part of the department’s unique human rights advocacy minor. The teaching load is 4/4.
