The Information Systems Manager performs highly technical software and systems consulting and is responsible for the implementation of technology for the Office of International Programs. They are also responsible for the management of the IP CRM system, configuration of the virtual server environment, the development of the website and web applications, support of critical third party software products and development of additional functionality such as dashboards and reports.
The IS Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of all IP technology functions including planning projects, assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, short and long range strategic planning, allocating resources and budget management. The IS Manager supervises 4 IS support personnel.
Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years professional experience, of which one (1) year must have been in a leadership role OR a combination of education and experience totaling eight (8) years from which comparable knowledge and abilities are acquired.
Experience in developing and integrating a CRM system at a higher education institution.
Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) programming language.
Experience working with a student information system such as PeopleSoft.
Experience interacting with information technology and other University staff to resolve problems in a timely manner.
Experience working with relational database management systems.
Expertise in the area of technology and how it can be used to further develop and manage various initiatives.
Experience providing in-depth technical expertise and project management.
