Detailed Job Description

The Geographic Information Services Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the University Map Library and air photo collection. This requires management of student employees and interns, budget development and management, library reference service, collection development, and public relations. Duties include enhancing the digital collection, coordinating with the Cartographic Research Center for program development, and obtaining grant and contract funding to support Geographic Information Services in the department of Geography, including funding for outreach and educational programs.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree and some relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Geography or closely related field. Demonstrated geospatial analysis expertise. Ability to generate external funding. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 32614.44 Midpoint - $ 47299.20
