Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with two to five (2-5) year of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Performs position and workflow analysis, evaluates and analyzes salary data and staffing levels to ensure maximum efficiency for the organization; Complies with EEO, FLSA and current compensation regulations; remains current with compensation industry guidelines and University practices.

Develops position descriptions and utilizes market benchmarks for proper classifications including minimum qualifications, essential functions, and knowledge, skills and abilities.

Manages the position analysis process via the People Admin system position management module and provides user support.

Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on compensation projects that support University initiatives.

Participates in various salary surveys; receives and interprets results; utilizes data in classification and salary decisions.

Serves as partner and resource for questions related to compensation including new hire start rates, internal equity, position analysis, compensation compliance and University process.
