PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS IN MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM: (Division of Health Professions) (DCE MCCC/MTA Unit Position) (Summer 2013, Semester) Anticipated start date: January, 2013.

One instructor to develop and teach Immunohematology (CLS105) in a hybrid/online format for our new iHealth initiative.

Immunohematology (CLS105) will begin in Summer 2013. Faculty teaching in summer 2013 must complete an iTeach development course beginning in January 2013.

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory; master’s degree preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical lab experience as a generalist, within the past five years required. National certification as a Medical Technologists or Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Scientist required. Previous teaching experience in distance education and a community college environment is preferred. Bicultural/Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.

Salary: $920.00 per credit hour/$613.33 per lab hour (where applicable). No fringe benefits. $4,000.00 additional compensation for developing the course in the iHealth hybrid/online format.
