The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Rhode Island invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in structural engineering with concentration in sustainable structures and materials. Anticipated start date for the position is August 2016. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in civil engineering; establish a strong externally-funded research program, advise graduate and undergraduate students.
