This new position will be responsible for the division’s corporate and foundation fundraising activities at the Medical Center. Reporting to the Sr Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, this position will serve as the main point of contact for corporations and foundation grant activity at the Medical Center and will work to solicit and complete grants that benefit all schools at the Medical Center. Grants and gifts from corporations and foundations are a key component to the fundraising activities of the division.
•Grant writing experience
•Strong interpersonal and writing skills
•Foundation relations experience
• Experience with the Microsoft suite, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Bachelor’s degree supplemented with one to three (1-3) years of related experience.
Works with corporations and foundations on grant proposals, submits and tracks grant proposals for the Medical campus.
Meets and collaborates with faculty at the Medical Center on programs and initiatives that can successfully receive corporate or foundation funding.
Prepares follow-up reports to corporations and foundations on the status of funded projects, initiatives, and /or research to ensure future grant collaboration.
Performs other duties as assigned.
