Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies
The Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies at the University of San Diego invites applications for a tenure-track position in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at the rank of Assistant Professor. Areas of priority include religion and conflict and business and conflict; however, applications from other specializations within conflict analysis and resolution are welcome. The ability to teach a class in program design, monitoring and evaluation is also desirable. The appointment is expected to begin on September 1, 2016. The successful candidate must have a PhD in hand at the time of appointment. A multidisciplinary approach linking theory and practice is central to the Kroc School’s philosophy.
The successful applicant will teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and will contribute to building the Kroc School’s interdisciplinary academic programs. The ideal candidate will also bring to the Kroc School current and future research that can be expected to attract students of the highest caliber. Preference will be given to candidates with practical and fieldwork experience.
