The Regional Administrator for the S.R Region (Weymouth, East Bridgewater, Fall River and Buzzards Bay) will be responsible for the day to day academic and technical assistance matters within the designated service region. Where appropriate, deal with enquiries from, and provide information to, visitors or callers to the service providing reception service when required. Functions of this position include:
Provides on-site technical assistance and training for newly hired staff Collaborates with local educational agencies to facilitate, develop, maintain, monitor and assess school partnerships.
Facilitates the hiring process of full-time and adjunct faculty making appropriate recommendations to the Program Director.
Supervise and evaluate of all full-time, adjunct and/or support staff that are assigned to the region.
Functions as the site supervisor for each campus assigned to their region including site evaluations.
Serves as the point of regional contact for student and faculty concerns. Addresses and resolves conflict or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Serves as the liaison for all communications and dissemination of information between the Regional Site Area and the School of Education.
Conducts semi-annual and annual faculty assessments (monitored through course evaluations).
Assists full and part-time faculty in selecting appropriate professional development.
Works with program directors, P-12 partners in collecting and maintaining data for program review and accreditation.
Other duties as assigned by Program Director or Dean.

Master's degree is required.
Field of expertise to include Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field is required.
Administrative experience is required.
Experience in teacher supervision and administration in P-12 and/or higher education is required.
Licensure in one area in which the School of Education recommends licensure is required.
Supervisory license is preferred.
Ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organization as well as people from external agencies.
Proficient computer or have the ability to become proficient skills in Microsoft packages, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.), Webex, Blackboard, Meeting Software.
