Detailed Job Description

The EEO Investigator/Coordinator is responsible for independently investigating complaints of violations of the University policies against discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: conducting trauma-informed interviews, research and fact finding tasks for writing investigative reports; coordinating and conducting University-wide training and educational activities related to diversity management, sexual harassment prevention, and other human rights topics.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Law degree or Master’s degree in a relevant field (psychology, counseling, human resources, management, education, human development etc.)

Knowledge of Title IX regulations and requirements.

Knowledge of EEO laws and requirements.

Experience working in higher education.

Demonstrated commitment to fostering a culture of inclusiveness.

Fluency in a second language.

Working knowledge of the WSU administrative environment.

Monthly Salary
