MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, with specialization and experience in the area of Manufacturing Engineering. An exemplary record of teaching, research, grantsmanship, and service that would allow appointment to the rank of Professor with tenure.

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Nationally recognized record of research leading to significant grant and contract funding and publications; demonstrated ability in initiating, leading, and conducting inter/multi-disciplinary and collaborative research involving academic-industry-government partners.

DUTIES: Conduct research in collaboration with industry partners through the Boeing Research Center (BRC), a strategic partnership between CSULB and The Boeing Company; establish independent research programs involving students and faculty; bring in grants and contracts to support the development of laboratories and research facilities; develop curriculum and teach courses in manufacturing engineering.
