Frostburg State University, Department of Kinesiology and Recreation, seeks applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track contractual faculty position at the rank of Lecturer to begin Spring 2016. Salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in Exercise and Sport Science and other areas of specialization within the field of Kinesiology, such as Athletic Training. Specific courses taught will depend on qualifications of the selected candidate. Duties will include student advising, professional development activities, and service to the Department, College of Education, and community.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, or closely related area of specialization.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous university-level experience teaching courses such as Foundations of Exercise and Sport Science, Nutrition, Physiology of Exercise, Biomechanics, or group exercise courses.
