Position: Assistant Professor of Qualitative Research and Mixed Methodologies (Tenure Track)

Minimum Qualifications:
● Ph.D. in Educational Research/Educational Psychology or a related field
● Demonstrated general knowledge of qualitative research methods and educational research design
● Evidence of ability to conduct research leading to publication
● Evidence of teaching effectiveness
● Ability to work with students and faculty in a variety of disciplines
● Strong writing and communication skills
● Commitment to working with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications:
● Teaching experience
● Demonstrated general knowledge and experience in teaching qualitative research and Mixed Methodologies
● Evidence of participation in national professional organizations

Responsibilities:
● Teach graduate courses in qualitative research
● Participate in program initiatives, faculty decisions, and advising
● Provide consultation to students and faculty
● Establish an independent research program leading to publication
● Serve on dissertation committees
● Seek significant external funding
